THE CREATION OF ARK
In the late 21st century, a nuclear war broke out. No one really knew who started it or why it happened, but everyone just understood that it was the end of peaceful times.
Remarkably, all was not lost. Some Countries built up systems to control their country, while many left their citizens to perish. The last remaining countries began building up systems to protect survivors, blocking the borders and making it difficult for enemies to get through. Despite their efforts, it didn't help calm the suffering of their people. That was until a few nations decided to work together to build a safe haven for themselves; ARK.
Ark was created as an enclosed nation away from all danger and evil left behind in the world.
In the beginning, Ark was created by survivors of 5 countries, and over the years it became the strongest surviving nation of the 22nd century. Those who lived in Ark were given the chance to live normal lives, fall in love, and achieve their dreams. Citizens of Ark had no worries. Ark was a city of the future. For years Ark has been in peace, away from the world and its problems and only focusing on themselves, bringing out the best of every citizen alike...
But one day, the peace in Ark was broken.
One day, a man fell from the sky.
His body had static-like effects on him that no one was able to understand. At first, they thought it was nothing. . . They were wrong. Eventually, people showed signs of a new disease, unlike anything anyone had ever experienced. Those infected were afflicted with new abilities that the mind could not comprehend. People called it The Glitch due to how the disease appears on a person. Symptoms involve produces static-like imagery around their body before their new ability forms. No one knows how the disease spreads. It shows no mercy, infecting normal people out of nowhere, regardless of age.

Citizens of Ark had something to fear, and they demanded an answer to this new threat. For a year, sick humans were hunted down and imprisoned for being different from the others, in fear that they would become a threat to humanity. The sick suffered, ostracized and fearful for their own lives. In a split second, ARK was no longer heaven.
Finally, a man stepped up and changed the fate of these sick people.
Mr. Isiahi Javel, a man who appeared out of nowhere, proposed a plan for the infected to live normal lives once again. His team developed medicine to help suppress their strange abilities and offered therapy to understand the Glitch and help the infected cope. Although the disease is incurable, medicine and study will help the infected live their lives as normal members of society.
Of course, their services came with a cost. As payment for helping these people live a normal life, they must serve under the organization: Arkflaw
